St. Vincent de Paul is constructing a mixed-use affordable housing project on the north-west corner of 16th and Market streets. The project will feature 136 rental apartments with price restrictions to serve households earning between 30 and 65 percent of the area median income. The building will also include 5,000 sf of retail space and 114 parking spaces. Construction commenced in summer 2007 and completion is anticipated in early 2009.
